JACKED: How bad guy spies take out your entire web and replace it with a fake one

You have had a Craigslist account for a long time. You remember when you used to put a posting on Craigslist for tickets, a ride, a job opening and you got FLOODED with responses. Then you noticed that, now, you post things but you don’t get any responses at all.

YOU GOT JACKED

You drive to a nearby town, buy a cheap notebook from Best Buy, connect online via the public internet at the library, and place an ad on Craigslist with your new stealth account. You get the flood of responses you are used to. Hmmmm? Was your Craigslist account jacked and spoofed?

YEP: YOU GOT JACKED

You want to make some money selling these bracelets you make. You try to open an account on Café Press, Etsy or Zazzle but your email address won’t go though and you get account error messages.

YOU GOT JACKED

You build a wonderful internet store on Weebly, and WordPress, and you post great pictures of your product and your stats show that tens of thousands of customers are coming through but you never see any payments to you on PayPal!!! You are baffled, you post 50 websites with different products that would appeal to all kinds of people and put them all on different hosting companies. Still not a single order,….hmmmmm

YOU GOT JACKED

You have an impeccable resume, outstanding references but you keep applying for jobs and never get a call. If you did get a call, they suddenly stop talking to you with no explanation. You later find out that terrible, and fake, things about you have been embedded on every hiring database about you.

YOU GOT JACKED

Palantir, Axciom, Lucid and other names are probably not company names you have heard of, but electronic hit-men and rouge spies know them well. While the “big players” have the power to order PayPal and Craigslist to jack your accounts, the independents can do it by remotely with internet steering technology.

Did you say, or blog, something that made a campaign billionaire or Senator upset? Did the web stats show that more than a few people saw it.

THEN YOU ARE GOING TO GET JACKED.

The ACLU says this is totally illegal. If you catch the “JACKERS” you can sue them and win. You need sharp IT security people to catch them but they can be caught. There is no such thing as a digital action without a digital fingerprint.

Does it look like you are having issues like this? Reach out and get quotes from a few local IT security firms…but don’t use Craigslist or PayPal to do it….
